The Charcoal Net Cloth is made with ‘Kayakiji’ which was traditionally woven in Nara, Japan. for mosquito netting. Now Kiyoi has reinvented ‘Kayakiji’ into a practical highly absorbent quick dry, layered cloth. The net has excellent air permeability and naturally resists oil and grease. The texture makes it simple to wipe dirt off completely.

Manufactured using a natural starch to organise the layers. Before using wash with lukewarm water to rinse away the starch and the fabric dramatically soften into a thick cloth. Kiyoi cloths easily wring dry keeping them fresher for longer - enhanced further in this cloth by the antibacterial properties of quality Kishu-Bincho charcoal.
