This is a blue linen hand towel or guest towel with a hand embroidered floral design in white.

The towel measures 20 inches long by 13.5 inches wide and features satin stitch and drawn thread work and an incredibly small hand button hole stitch front hem.

The hand towel dates to the 1950s and is in excellent condition.

Beautifully done. The towel is part of an English linens collection we recently acquired but I am not sure where this was made.
