This scroll saw has excellent vibration dampening properties, which combined with the twin pivot arm mechanism, results in a very smooth, controllable and clean cut. The electronic variable stroke rate of 550 to 1600 strokes per minute allows you to cut intricate shapes in a wide range of materials including hard and soft woods, plastics and non-ferrous metals.
The scroll saw has a quiet running, yet powerful 125W motor, which will comfortably cope with depth of cut of up to 50mm. The heavy duty base is made from cast iron, ensuring minimal vibration, and the worktable is machined from cast aluminium and tilts through 45° for bevel and mitre cuts. The table offers excellent workpiece stability, measuring 414mm in length by 254mm in width, and the saw features a generous throat depth of 406mm for larger projects. The motor powers a bellow that blows air directly onto the point of cut, ensuring excellent visibility when following a pencil line.
The 35mm diameter dust port is positioned to draw dust directly from the cutting line when coupled to a workshop vacuum or dust collector. The flexible LED work light provides excellent visibility and can be twisted and bent for optimum positioning. This scroll saw accepts both pinned and plain end blades, and blade changes are made quickly and easily using the quick release tension lever. ©
